Khirki photo sessions

4 χρόνια με τους Khirki!

Γνώρισα τους Khirki τυχαία, σε ένα live των αγαπημένων μου Void Droid στο Gagarin, το 2022. Με έναν συνδυασμό ενθουσιασμού και θράσους, μπήκα στο καμαρίνι τους , συστήθηκα, πέταξα μερικά (ομολογουμένως κρύα) αστεία και πήρα θέση για να τους δω για πρώτη φορά live — και φυσικά να τους φωτογραφίσω.

Αυτό που ακολούθησε ήταν κάτι πολύ περισσότερο από μια απλή συναυλία. Η ενέργεια, το vibe, η σύνδεση με το κοινό — όλα ήταν αδιανόητα δυνατά. Ο κόσμος τραγουδούσε μαζί τους, ζούσε κάθε κομμάτι, και μέσα σε λίγα λεπτά είχα παρασυρθεί κι εγώ σε αυτή τη μαγεία.

Λίγες μέρες αργότερα, επικοινώνησαν μαζί μου για να κάνουμε φωτογράφιση της μπάντας. Δεν το σκέφτηκα δεύτερη φορά — έφυγα τρέχοντας. Περάσαμε ένα ολόκληρο απόγευμα σε βουνά και κοιλάδες, πίνοντας τσιπουράκια, τσιμπώντας μεζέδες και, κυρίως, χτίζοντας μια αυθεντική σύνδεση. Από τότε, βρίσκομαι σχεδόν σε κάθε τους live. Ευγνώμων που έχω την ευκαιρία να αποτυπώνω κάθε τους βήμα και να χάνομαι στη μουσική τους, ξανά και ξανά. Δήμο, Ορέστη, Ορέστη και Σπύρο — σας ευχαριστώ μέσα από την καρδιά μου <3

4 years with Khirki!

I first met Khirki by chance, at a live show of Void Droid, at Gagarin in 2022. Driven by equal parts excitement and boldness, I walked into their dressing room, introduced myself, threw in a few (admittedly terrible) jokes, and then took my place to see them live for the first time — and of course, to photograph them. What followed was far more than just another concert. The energy, the vibe, the connection with the crowd — everything was incredibly powerful. People were singing along, fully immersed, and within minutes I found myself completely drawn into the same magic. A few days later, they reached out to me for a band photoshoot. I didn’t hesitate for a second — I practically ran to it. We spent an entire afternoon in the mountains and valleys, drinking tsipouro, sharing small bites, and most importantly, building something real. Since then, I’ve been at almost every one of their shows. Grateful for the chance to capture their journey and to lose myself in their music, again and again.
